Ashley was 2 lbs and 8 ounces when she was born. She remained in ICU for one month. On Christmas Day she was told by her parents that she'd require heart surgery. The prayers were answered when Ashley's parents went to the hospital Christmas Day and were told by doctors that her heart had been shut. Ashley did not require any surgery. Within two months of hospitalization she weighed only 4 1/2 pounds at the time of her release. Her health has improved since! Her father is of English as well as German heritage. Her mother is Irish. In 2002, Ashley first made an appearance in an advertisement in her Salon Surprise Barbie Doll. Ashley's career was furthered by the Ford Modeling Agency approached her at age 8. From then on, she's been employed in the publishing industry and working for the Agency. As early as 10, she decided that acting was her passion. Ashley started her acting career by doing 35 commercials, and then moved to roles in the theatre. Ashley discovered her love for acting. Ashley's focus shifted to acting. It was a little difficult to find time for dancing and modeling. Ashley is best known for her role as Hannah Marin on ABC's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley appeared in Romeo Miller's (aka Lil Romeo), and also in Solange's "True Love", music video. Britney took a photo with Ashley for Vogue Magazine. The singer is featured in the NLT's music video "That Girl".
