Colson Kelly, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, has an unique rapping style. Baker was born the 22nd of April, 1991 in Houston Texas U.S. into the family with English Scottish and German descent. His parents were missionaries. In his early years Baker traveled a lot together. James Colson Baker was depressed and unemployed, while Sonia Alane, his mother, left the Baker family at just nine years old. Baker relocated to Denver along with his father, and stayed there for some time. Baker was bullied by other youngsters in his community because of the poverty he had. When he reached sixth grade, Baker was able to study the art of rap. Colson Baker, a.k.a by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22, 1990. His music blends modern, alternative hip-hop along with rock. Baker produced four mixtapes before signing with Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. In the wake of delivering his lyrics faster than bullet trains and a soaring voice, the Cleveland rapper experienced a swift rise to fame in 2011. The rapper went from releasing self-released cassettes, to being signed to labels. His career took off every album being ranked within the top 10.
